This May, Newcastle will host the 2nd scientific meeting of the Toxicology And Poisons Network Australasia. Widely perceived as the city that paved the way for Australasian Clinical Toxicology on both a national and international level, it is fitting that we gather in Newcastle to consider “new directions in poisoning” as a theme. 

A stimulating scientific programme awaits and a social programme accompanying this will ensure some time for personal pleasure is incorporated as well. Opportunities will be available to showcase the latest research in poisoning and related fields during the meeting.
